Having seen Julia’s beautiful picture of a friend’s dog I contacted her to ask if she would draw my step son’s family’s dog for Christmas. Julia was so helpful in advising how to take a good photo including the advice on her website. Once the photo was selected Julia sent me regular updates as the drawing developed to check I was happy. For my 50th birthday my fiancee commissioned a pet portrait from Julia. Upon opening my birthday present I was overwhelmed with emotion. Julia has beautifully captured our fur babies! the frailty of our 17 year old Labrador Beau, the vibrancy of our Fox Red Macy and the youth of our kitten Tuppy. I can honestly say it's like looking at a photograph of them, every detail is perfect. It sits proudly in our front room and will be treasured forever.
